Hi all just thought I'd let you know that I went prebaiting today at hamptOn court and see the caretaker of hampton court , so asked him for a few black bags as I wanted to clean the area , he was over the moon as I was helping him with his job as he had to clean banks , had a great lil chat and found out a few seccret areas to cast to and filled 3 bin bags of twigs , packets , crisps and other general rubbish , chatted to this caretaker for nearly 3 hours and I must say it never hurts to have a lil chat with someone who works on the thames , come away with a lot of tips and made the bank that lil bit better , so I dno what that makes the total but yeah 3 bags full today as I was prebaiting !!!

Superb Conor. Things like that will help balance things for us anglers when the summer brings the idiots out burning fires etc.

yesterday we visited desborough island and filled a single bin bag with rubbish
we then weaved our magic on penton hook island, pruning the trees in the water on a shallow weir, filling two bin bags with litter, and most importantly, removing the obstacles in the spawning channel

200 within touching distance, amazing.

And I can remember a few months back discussing whether there maybe 150 by the end of the season.

So much rubbish, just wait til the summer

we assisted the scouts with a clean up at the river crane in twickenham for a couple of hours last night

5 bin bags were filled with litter, and we pulled out of the river 2 bicycles, a motorbike frame, lorry/van wheel with tyre, 2 road signs, a length of plastic barrier, a pallet, a large metal frame for a trailer or something similar, other odds'n'sods, and a first for us, a small safe

a big up to ed for organising it, and jeff for his assistance

last weekend we were at the half mile tree at kingston and headed downstream to teddington

we got a sofa bed out of the margins, a full aluminium beer keg, one car wheel with tyre, a 5 gallon plastic container, numerous boat seat cushions, yet another tyre, and filled 5 bin bags with litter

yesterday 15 of us tended to part of the mini ha ha at richmond, we all got soaked, splattered in horrible black silt, and in a couple of hours pulled out
2 lengths of plastic fencing, bicycle, bucket, tyre, plastic sled, metal gate/fence, computer screen, a large metal trailer chassis, picked loads of himalyan balsam, filled 8 bin bags with litter, and gathered together 18 traffic cones
