Sarah & I checked the trap this morning Sun 25th
3 eels in the trap 110, 80, 95mm and 1 bullhead

Trap will be coming out on 30th so time for one last check on Thurs/Fri.

Both syphons had stopped and not much flow going down,  Restarted them after some difficulty, now plenty more flow for the final week.

The slum boat from up Hurst Park has moved down and moored opposite the weir.  Can smell his toilet tank from the towpath.  Ugh!

Chaps the trap is now out, so game over for 2016.

Will get the final numbers in due course and we'll done for getting down again this year.

See you at the Zoo in a few weeks

Good to see you today chaps, very enjoyable morning Smile

Nice to see Stu K, Jeff Woodhouse and others been a while.  Ended up doing the whole zoo visit and left at 5, had a few drinks and food in Camden so a great day all round
