A social event is planned for the evening of Tuesday 2nd September, with a guided tour of the College’s top class Fish facilities including the fantastic and now fully operational Salmonid Rearing and Trials Centre, followed by a delicious BBQ sponsored by Skretting. This should be a great opportunity for many attendees to meet and relax over a drink along with discussing the hot issues that are affecting the coarse fish world. On-site B&B rooms are available to all of you travelling from further a field or who wish to enjoy the social evening.
The talks commence at 09.15hrs on the 3rd with the day drawing to a close at around 17.30hrs. A variety of interesting current topics, presented by leading experts in their field, will be covered through the day.
A few of the planned presentations for this year include;
EA Fish Disease update – what has been happening & what is new
CEFAS Update – the past 12 months
Stillwater enhancement and management – a consultant’s experience
Lake Dyes - a successful weed management tool?
Predation and Fisheries – an overview
Signal Crayfish – their ecological impact
Tickets are £39.50 per person, which includes a buffet lunch, refreshments throughout the day and hand-outs of all the presentations.
