160mm that be a proper whopper. i will go up there saturday may fish may not. will be aiming to do the trap at 10.30.

you get all the good ones dave. but seriously the two crabs that were in the trap yesterday were frighteningly big. how big can they get? the carapace on these were as big as my fist. one took both of my size 10s before capitulating.

Big tides all week, think looking for big numbers from the weekend onwards.

couldn't get there today spent an hour getting from leatherhead back to claygate- maybe 3 or 4 miles, by which time my tolerance for poxy Lycra clad cyclists which go faster than traffic bound cars, was exhausted. will go up tomorrow for 10.30.

met glyn down at the trap today we found two eels 1@85 and 1@100. beware on the overspill it is slippery.

i shall be down there saturday gonna try to catch something to put a bit of a bend in the rod, bound to be able to get a bream or two on the spillway. so i will wait for anyone else to turn up otherwise i'll have a peep at 11.30.
