hearing there is a pollution incident on the Blackwater, anyone know it well, nearby. Details are very sketchy for now but possibly from a sewage works

Just spoken to Richard Aylard of Thames and it is a problem at the STW in Camberley, it does not sound serious but we never know.

All about eyes and ears from us lot, the anglers, the same way we recently helped with the Wandle.

Plus of course evidence !

Looks to be here but the pic just posted doesnt look right for the bankside sill ?

Fished it last year as a guest of Martin Steggall on a stretch reserved for aerospace engineers - beautiful river, similar to the narrow parts of the Mole. He's caught a lot of barbel from it.

Looking at the map, it passes through the Yateley lakes complex before joining the Loddon near Arborfield.

Thames Water fined £220,000 for river pollution in Surrey
https://www.gov.uk/government/news/thames-water-fined-220000-for-river-pollution-in-surrey
Result
These new sentencing guidelines are really going to start to hurt them.
The costs alone are about the same as they used to get fined under the old system.
