The transit of Venus (where the planet Venus passes across the sun) occurs in pairs every 113 years, it happened in 2004 and will happen again as sunrise on Wednesday 6th June 2012.

Assuming (and that's a big assumption!) that the sky is clear, at sunrise (04:46 BST) it will be possible to see this from England for the second time. Anybody planning to get up and watch?
