Edit: changed title from "Lock keepers" to "Lock assistants" as used in the body of that article, less controversial!

Most of the Volunteer lockys we came across were capable and polite but a couple seemed to think they knew it all ,and a little bit of Knowledge in that job is dangerous when it comes to packing boats into a lock

Funnily enough James one of them did look like a young version of Uncle Albert....well his beard wasn`t grey at any rate.....He could waffle though
