Like Dave I will not be fishing as we are saying goodbye to a dear friend and raising a glass to celebrate his life.

However I will join Dave and have a stroll down to meet a few chaps.

do we have a update as to what side we are fishing.
also i belive that you cannot use bite alarms on the palace side if so can you use silent alarms with reciever,
also any othere rules as never fished the palace side if thats the place where fishing as was thinking of doing fri-sun with 3 bottom rods.

hi john,i think the palace side would be best(not too busy)
as for alarms,alarms with recievers are ideal,but you can use alarms as long as their not blaring loud.

The alarm ban was quite a way up towards ravens ait, not sure its still in place?
have fished it many of times and had no problems, but I dont have them blairing...
was also a ban on bivvys with built in groundsheets as this is classed as camping?

here is map of where I think we are fishing, its about 4/500yds walk from bridge, red arrow points to area, dont 4get about the tea making comp, the judges will be those people who do not like Tea, lol!
