Boris's pet project for a floating walkway in time for the Olympics is hitting the rails and rightly too.

The impact on important bankside habitat is vitally important, not only from the structure being built but removing all light from the river and more. Seems like a vanity project.

Couldn't really care much about the project, except that it seems a waste of money, pure vanity. But that survey, what a lot of detail! Now if only the hydropower developers would get their act together and do something similar...
