Just read the Angling Times report on it - great pic and piece.

Feel sorry for all you semi-tidal carpers though. There was no need for the paper to mention exactly where it got caught from Rolling Eyes

1stly, congratulations to Vince! What an awesome fish!

But why oh why did the report have to be so specific on the location?! Is that down to the angler or the Anglers Times?
I live in Teddington and have fished that swim for over 10 years, Had some big fish from there also (profile pic) but now it looks like im guna be searching for new places to fish Mad
Im sure bigger fish have been caught and not reported, That doesnt surprise me one bit as i would MUCH rather have a quiet swim than having my name and photo in the Times.

It will certainly crank up the pressure on the stretch for the next couple of weeks, but that's fishing lads, the captor is entitled to publish as is his want.

Congrats on the fish of a lifetime.
