 capture of the month competition

PostSubject: capture of the month competition   Mon Jun 27, 2011 8:14 am

last season we ran this competition during the late autumn and winter

shall we get it up'n'running again

and if so can anyone help with prizes, last season the local tackle shops supported it, but we cant expect them to do it again this season

opinions as always folks

Don't know what other members reckon Jim but we (us members) don't need prizes and no-one expects them.

You've got enough on your plate without organising them and for anyone with the month's best fish, getting votes from other anglers would surely be more than enough?

I think that's it, the honour would probably be sufficient! If we can put together a story about the catch and other contenders as a kind of regular press release summarizing our other work that might be featured in the local papers maybe becoming a monthly angling column, that would be a good thing.
