I don't understand why AT is wasting money .I think we should pass the education stage and bring prossecutions and hefty fines now. Evil or Very Mad

Join the Angling Trust, the political voice of angling, fishings saviours, we will fight for your fishing they grandly boast.
East European so called anglers, One of the biggest concerns for British anglers, and what do the Angling Trust do, fly the white flag and make special cases for them. They should hold their heads in shame.
One rule for all.

You're entitled to your opinion chaps, however, I don't see much negativity in the campaign? Surely it has to be dialogue among the communities, at the appropriate level, rather than tarring everyone with the same brush that will see many newer migrants get the message?

I for one think it's a positive step.

seems to me it should be carrot and stick
yes try to educate them of course, aint we been doing that since they arrived, but if they dont take the time to find out our laws, then stick it to 'em big time
it seems alright to plunder our country economically, but it definitely aint right to plunder our natural environment as well

Don't get me wrong, education is the key but not everybody is willing to learn. I’m Polish myself and have been involved in education process longer than Angling Trust but it doesn't seem to work for some individuals .There are plenty of resources and relevant information on UK fishing rules, regulations and cultural practice for those who want to find it, others just simply decide to ignore it.Poachers and fish thieves know what they are doing and they know they can get away with it.
